Maple House is committed to making this website easy to use for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and review the site regularly as we add new content.
Built every page with clear headings, landmarks, and a logical reading order for screen readers.
Added a “Skip to content” link and made all menus, links, cards, and forms usable with a keyboard alone.
Written descriptive alternative text for meaningful photographs and hidden purely decorative images from assistive technology.
Chosen text and background colors with sufficient contrast, and kept text resizable up to 200% without loss of content.
Labeled every form field and kept error messages clear and specific.
Respected the “reduce motion” setting on your device, which turns off scrolling and parallax animation.
Despite our efforts, some parts of the experience may not yet be fully accessible:
Third-party booking platforms, maps, and embedded videos are provided by other companies and may not meet the same standards.
Date fields in the inquiry form rely on your browser’s built-in date picker, which varies in accessibility between browsers.
Some older photographs may have shorter descriptions than we would like. We are updating them over time.
This statement covers our website. If you have questions about the physical accessibility of Maple House, such as steps at the entrance, bedroom and bathroom locations, or doorway widths, please get in touch before booking. We are happy to share detailed photos and measurements so you can decide whether the house is right for your group.
